Not the parts your engineer fits at a customer's property, and the distinction is worth being precise about because the platform does hold a parts inventory. That inventory is workshop stock: the filters, belts and consumables used to maintain your own vehicles. The valve or the cable joint in the racking belongs to your field service or ERP system, which knows the price, the job it was consumed on and the reorder point. Two systems both claiming to know what is on a van is a guaranteed argument. Let each own its half.
Indirectly, and only if you are honest about the mechanism. First-time fix is overwhelmingly a stock and diagnosis problem, and both of those live in your scheduling and inventory systems. What a fleet platform contributes is the failure mode nobody counts: the visit that never happened because the van would not start, or was sitting in a bay, or was found emptied on a driveway.
